I paint in oil. I love the richness and flexibliity that oil provides. I specialize in movie scenes; particularly monster movies. I pick
specific scenes which hold a certain beauty and  magnificent power. In certain paintings, the eyes are the key to the success
of the image. For example, the ferocity of The Wolfman, the sadness of The Clown or the gaze of King Kong.  Growing up
during the 1960’s monster craze has had a huge influence on me. The Jaymar monster puzzles, James Bama’s  Aurora model
kit art and the Hasbro monster board games with their beautiful graphics have become cherished memories. Of course,
Famous Monsters Of Filmland magazine is the number one reason I love monsters. Those magical days of drive-in movies,
comic books and toys drive me to paint the images you see here.
